Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient records using dental software systems, including Eaglesoft, to ensure accurate documentation. Assist with endodontic procedures and other specialized treatments as required. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the clinic. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential for effective patient care. Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is a plus, enhancing overall clinic efficiency. Experience in a dental clinic environment will be advantageous, particularly in assisting with various dental procedures.
