Dental Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and general dentistry practices. Experience with Dentrix software and 3D scanners is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and prepare equipment for dental procedures
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

Skills:

• Proficiency in dental assisting techniques
• Knowledge of dental receptionist duties
• Familiarity with 3D scanners for dental imaging
• Understanding of general dentistry practices
• Ability to maintain infection control protocols in a dental clinic setting
• Experience with Dentrix or similar practice management systems
