Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant specializing in Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry! You will be instrumental in supporting advanced procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and clinical excellence. Responsibilities Assist dentists during implant procedures, cosmetic procedures, and other complex dental treatments with precision and confidence. Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments, materials, and equipment, including 3D scanners. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Provide chairside assistance using aseptic techniques, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Manage patient records efficiently using Dentrix. Educate patients on post-operative care, treatment options, and oral health best practices, especially in pediatric dentistry when applicable. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and assisting the dental receptionist and hygienists as needed. Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general, implant and cosmetic dentistry. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and vital signs measurement. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Ability to interpret dental terminology, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and technical procedures involving 3D scanners. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team of dental professionals. $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
