Dental Assistant

Position Overview We are seeking a passionate Dental Assistant to deliver the very best care to our patients and meet all of their dental goals. We provide our patients with a modern, state of the art dental office which exceeds their expectations. Our practice only works 4 days per week and no weekends!

Key Responsibilities Patient Preparation:

Preparing patients for dental examinations and procedures

Assisting During Procedures:

Handing instruments to the dentist, retracting tissues, suctioning saliva, and generally supporting the dentist during various treatments

Sterilization and Maintenance:

Sterilizing and disinfecting dental instruments and equipment, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms

Radiography:

Taking and processing dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and appointment scheduling

Inventory Management:

Monitoring and ordering dental supplies and materials.

Patient Comfort and Education:

Ensuring patient comfort during visits and providing post-operative instructions or oral hygiene education Required Qualifications Certification in dental assisting is preferred. Sterilization, X-rays, impressions, and pour ups is highly desirable. Proficiency in using Eaglesoft is a plus. At least have 1 year of dental assisting experience Proficiency in taking

FMX/CBCT

Must have an OSHA knowledge Must be dependable Must have an excellent customer service skills to create positive patient interactions. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
