Opportunity Knocks:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator/Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator/Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative and chairside support, which ensures the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
  • Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance claims
  • Collect patient information, update medical records, and maintain confidentiality
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
  • Assist with billing and payment processing
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and order as necessary
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care
  • Chairside assisting
  • Sterilization of instruments
  • Disinfection and preparation of operatories
Requirements:
  • Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Compassionate demeanor and ability to provide exceptional patient care
