• Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team.

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supporting our dentists and hygienists, and assisting with administrative tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. Duties Assist the dentist and hygienist during patient exams, cleanings, and procedures, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience for all patients. Monitor patients' vital signs and maintain accurate medical documentation. Take and develop dental X-rays, as needed. Familiarize yourself with dental terminology and provide clear explanations to patients. Assist with pediatric dentistry patients, utilizing your anatomy knowledge to ensure a gentle and efficient experience. Maintain and sterilize dental equipment, adhering to strict infection control protocols. Participate in our dental clinic's daily activities, such as preparing treatment rooms, stocking supplies, and ordering materials. Collaborate with our team to develop and implement systems for maintaining patient records and optimizing clinical operations. Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of our dental clinic. Skills Prosthodontics experience is an asset. Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge. Ability to take and develop dental X-rays. Familiarity with vital signs and medical documentation procedures. Experience working in a pediatric dental setting. Strong assisting skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of dental clinic systems and an ability to learn new systems. Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear explanations to patients. Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to infection control protocols. We are willing to train if the right candidate has the desire to learn.
