Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation
- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models and trimming plaster casts
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
- Current certification in dental radiography
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
