Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Take and develop dental X-rays
  • Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation
  • Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
  • Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models and trimming plaster casts
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
  • Current certification in dental radiography
  • Proficiency in Eaglesoft
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
