Job Description
Our privately owned dental practice offers patients consistent quality care in a calm and welcoming environment. We are looking for an individual who is a team player, highly motivated and looking for a long term commitment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a quick learner and self-starter. An ideal candidate for this position should be reliable, ethical, friendly and able to work with different age group patients. The candidate must be energetic and highly professional, have an attention to detail, and take pride in excellent customer service. Qualities that we are looking for in an ideal candidate are dependable individuals that enjoy interacting with people and that are solution oriented in a cooperative environment. The candidate should be adaptable and flexible when working with patients and also be able to focus on quality and care for the patients. We are looking for a candidate with some experience in the dental field but we are also willing to train the right person! - Chairside assisting
- Taking x-rays
- Setting up and breaking down operatories
- Instrument disinfection and sterilization
- Answering the phone and scheduling patients
- Occasionally help our receptionist with the front desk duties
Requirements:
- 1-3 years dental assisting experience ( required )
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Good manual dexterity
- Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs Pay biweekly/per hour:
- $23-25 per hour (based on past dental experience)
