Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Dental Assistant with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with advanced implant and digital dentistry workflows , including 3-on-6 full-arch procedures , and will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting an efficient, technology-driven clinical environment. This position requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during general, surgical, and implant procedures , including 3-on-6 full-arch cases , while maintaining a sterile and organized operatory. Prepare, set up, and maintain dental instruments, surgical trays, and implant systems. Perform and adhere to strict infection control and sterilization protocols in compliance with OSHA and CDC standards. Take diagnostic digital X-rays and CBCT scans , following all radiation safety guidelines. Operate and assist with 3D intraoral scanners (iTero, TRIOS 6) and photogrammetry systems (iCam) as required. Assist with implant planning and surgical workflows , including digital case setup and coordination. Accurately document patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical notes. Utilize Dentrix (preferred) and other dental software systems for scheduling, charting, and record management. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative instructions, and treatment expectations. Assist with pediatric patients when needed, ensuring a calm and positive experience. Support front-office and clinical flow using DENTRIX and related systems as needed. Skills & Qualifications Minimum 3 years of chairside dental assisting experience (implant or surgical experience strongly preferred). Experience assisting with implant placement and full-arch cases (3-on-6, All-on-4/X) is highly desirable. Proficiency in four-handed dentistry and advanced infection control protocols. Familiarity with dental and surgical terminology. Experience with CBCT imaging, digital scanners, and 3D workflows . Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality. Ability to monitor and record vital signs during procedures. Experience with Dentrix preferred (Eaglesoft experience a plus). Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients of all ages. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
