Job Description
We are a privately owned dental practice looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant / Front Office Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both clinical dentistry and interacting with patients . While the primary responsibility of this position will be dental assisting, we are looking for someone who is comfortable helping with front-office responsibilities when needed. We value professionalism, teamwork, attention to detail, and providing an exceptional patient experience. ResponsibilitiesClinical / Dental Assisting Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Prepare and turn over operatories Take digital dental radiographs Perform sterilization and maintain infection-control standards Set up instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures Assist with laboratory cases and communicate with dental laboratories Maintain organized and properly stocked operatories Front Office Support Greet patients and provide a warm, professional experience Answer phones and respond to patient questions Schedule and confirm appointments Help manage the daily schedule and keep the office running efficiently Assist with patient communications by phone, text, and email Review and update patient information Help with treatment coordination and other administrative duties as needed What We're Looking For Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Friendly, professional, and personable Reliable and punctual Strong communication skills Comfortable interacting with patients Organized and able to multitask Works well independently and as part of a team Comfortable learning dental software The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who can move comfortably between the back and front of the office . Not necessary to pick it up quickly, learning is apart of the job!
