- Experience of at least one year in chair-side orthodontic assisting. Job duties for Orthodontic Assistant include:
- Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain the schedule and patient flow.
- Provide exceptional customer service, with an excellent chair-side manner
- Have the ability to learn computer software quickly
- Assisting the doctor with bonding and de-bonding procedures
- Fitting orthodontic bands and orthodontic appliances, arch wire changes and going over instructions and oral hygiene with patients.
- Knowledge of instruments and terminology
- Be able to work flexible hours (some Fridays )
- Taking quality orthodontic photos, panoramic and cephalometric x-rays
- Taking and pouring up of impressions
- Digital scans of teeth A working interview will be required.
