Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our dentists during patient treatments, while ensuring a positive and efficient experience for our patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists with patient treatments, including preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining patient records.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of dental anatomy and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with various dental systems and software, including Eaglesoft.
- Participate in four-handed dentistry, working closely with the dentist to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide support in pediatric and general dentistry settings, adapting to the unique needs of each patient.
- Maintain a clean and organized dental environment, adhering to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.
- Develop strong relationships with patients and contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the practice.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and medical terminology.
- Proficiency with dental systems and software, including Eaglesoft.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
