Our growing team needs an experienced, reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Expanded Duty Dental Assistant to join our team at Revitalize Dental. The ideal candidate will assist our dental professionals in providing top-quality oral care, ensuring a comfortable experience for patients, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are sterile and ready for use. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information in medical documentation. Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures including prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with coding when necessary. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Utilize 3D scanners for imaging as required in treatment planning. Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection within the clinic environment. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a dental clinic setting is required. Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft is highly desirable- on the job training available. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
