Job Description

Our state of the art office is looking for a full/part time dental assistant to join our team! We are a fast paced, friendly and family practice privately owned. Our ideal candidate must be professional, patient oriented and able to provide a high quality of service to all of our longtime, loyal patients and seeking longavity. Dentrix knowledge is preferred. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop dental X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Record patient vital signs and medical histories accurately to assist in treatment planning. Maintain infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and managing the cleanliness of the treatment area. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Manage patient records using dental software systems, including Epic, to ensure accurate documentation of treatments and appointments. Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming environment and addressing their unique needs during visits. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in general dentistry. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting. Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and procedures. Familiarity with infection control procedures and safety regulations in a clinical environment. Proficiency in taking X-rays and understanding radiographic techniques. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients of all ages Dental Assistant license is required A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
