We are seeking someone who has experience assisting with endodontic and periodontal procedures . We would like to find a professional who enjoys their career. A positive and dependable dental assistant with a can do attitude to complement our already amazing and established dental practice. We are seeking a candidate who is well versed in dental assisting and is punctual. Along side a dentist you would be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care and aide to make the office procedures run as smooth as possible.
What We're Looking For:
Radiology (X-ray) certification required Prior dental assisting experience required Experience with endo and perio procedures strongly preferred Strong clinical and chairside assisting skills Excellent communication and patient care abilities Responsibilities Welcome customers into the operatory Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Take radiographs and intra-orals effectively, Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Requirements Previous and proven experience as a dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Dental software experience is helpful... Eaglesoft Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school
