Job Description

About us Busy general dental office looking for an experienced fulltime Dental Assistant. We are expanding to two doctors and thus looking for someone to join our exciting team. Come join our generational family office. All of our existing team members have been with the office for a long time (5
  • 30 years).
We are a fun, friendly team that caters to the needs of all our patients. We utilize all latest technologies including digital radiographs, scanners, Electronic records and much more. We are open Monday to Thursday 8 am to 5 pm and Fridays 7 am to 2 pm. No weekends, No nights.
Pay:
Depends on experience and skills
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist for four handed dentistry procedures like restorative, cosmetic veneers, surgical extractions, invisalign and much more.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment. The entire team helps out each other and ensures smooth patient care
  • Take digital X rays, Itero scans, Initial Impressions.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
  • Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records. All of our team members are cross trained and encourage the same. We will coach the right candidate to help them learn more and achieve more.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
  • Proficiency in Dentrix, Itero, Panoramic X rays preferred
  • Familiarity with dental coding and documentation practices
  • Ability to take accurate vital signs and record medical history
  • Experience in managing and maintaining medical records
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well in a team environment Please note that prior experience as a Dental Assistant is prefered for this position.
