Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our modern Endodontic practice. We are a privately owned and growing Endodontic practice looking for an experienced Endodontic assistant to join our team in a lead role. We are a patient first, family style practice looking for a dedicated team member who is interested in a long term growth position.
Hours:
Monday 8:30am-5pm Tuesday 12:30pm-7pm Wednesday 8:30am-5pm Thursday 12:30pm-7pm Friday 8:30am-3pm Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, providing chairside support and ensuring patient comfort. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for use. Take dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow efficiency during procedures. Monitor vital signs and assist in managing patient anxiety or discomfort during treatments. Educate patients on post-treatment care instructions. Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively. Oversee compliance protocols and maintain scheduled testings and logs. Help maintain office inventory and stocking and general office organization and cleanliness. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is required. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques is essential. Experience with medical documentation, coding, and records management will be beneficial. A solid understanding of endodontics and general dentistry practices is advantageous for this role.
