Job Description

Oral and Maxillofacial surgery office located in South Yarmouth Massachusetts is seeking a Full-time Oral surgery assistant. We are looking for a qualified assistant that demonstrates strong work ethics. All applicants must be able to multi-task, pay attention to detail, display a friendly energetic attitude and work as a team player. This position involves being on your feet for long periods of time and being able to acclimate to our busy pace. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long term employment in a fast-paced practice. We offer an outstanding compensation package for the right applicant. Your response must include your resume and a cover letter explaining why you feel you are fit for this position. Duties include but are not limited to: Provide high quality care to patients. Set up, breakdown, and turn over operatory rooms. Sterilize instruments. Assist chairside during surgical procedures. Assist during anesthesia and monitor vital signs under the direction of the physician. Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients. Take radiographs (must be certified in the state of MA). Prepare for the following days schedule. Schedule appointments. Stock supplies. Continuing education.
Experience:
Experience in Oral surgery is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has at least one year of Dental Assisting experience and a current MA Dental Assistant license.
