  • Dental Hygienist Duties & Responsibilities:
  • + Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization.
+ Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress. + Update patient health history and chart treatment progress. + Expose and develop radiographs (if certified). + Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care. + Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments. + Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems. + Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including
HIPAA & OSHA.
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • + Current, valid, and unrestrictedMD license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
+ Certified Dental Assistant. + High school diploma or GED is required + Associate's degree or certification in Dental Assisting (preferred but not required). + Must have minimum one (1) year Dental Assisting experience to be considered. + X-ray training or certification & BLS certification + Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required. + Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents.
