Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to enhancing patient experiences. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including general dentistry, oral sugery, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Record and update medical documentation accurately, including patient vital signs and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage sterilization of instruments and maintain cleanliness in the dental clinic. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Skills Proficient in assisting with various dental procedures, demonstrating strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical documentation practices and familiarity with medical coding is preferred. Experience with vital signs monitoring is an asset. Strong understanding of general dentistry principles, including pediatric dentistry techniques. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff professionally. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
