Experienced Dental Assistant We are seeking a reliable, professional, and experienced dental assistant to join our growing dental team. Experience Requirement Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience Experience with general dentistry procedures is required Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, materials, and infection-control protocols Roles and Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments Take and process digital X-rays Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards Review patients' medical histories and prepare them for treatment Provide patients with preoperative and postoperative instructions Take impressions and perform other permitted expanded duties Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes Monitor and manage dental supplies and inventory Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked Support the front desk with scheduling and patient coordination when needed Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and office safety policies Work collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff Preferred Qualifications Dental Assistant certification, if required by the state Current CPR/BLS certification Radiology certification Strong communication and patient-care skills Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to multitask Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office
