Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals. In this energetic position, you will assist with chairside procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and safety. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments using aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment Assist dentists during various Oral Surgery procedures including extractions, implant placement and biopsies. Manage patient records using EMR system , ensuring accurate medical documentation and coding Obtain vital signs and medical history information from patients to support comprehensive care plans Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practices to promote overall health Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques Experience with chairside assisting in oral surgery, general dentistry Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and provide compassionate patient support This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to expand their expertise in dental assisting while making a positive impact on patients' lives. s. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
