We are looking for someone who takes pride in excellent patient care, enjoys working as part of a strong team, and wants the opportunity to continue developing their clinical skills. Our practice provides comprehensive dentistry, including restorative care, endodontics, oral surgery, dental implants, Invisalign, and digital dentistry. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, attentive to detail, and able to anticipate the needs of both the doctor and our patients. We value attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn as much as experience. An experienced assistant can step into a role with significant clinical responsibility, while a motivated candidate with strong potential will have opportunities to learn and grow with our practice.
Responsibilities:
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photographs Perform iTero scanning Maintain excellent infection control, sterilization, and OSHA standards Anticipate the doctor's needs to support efficient, on-time patient care Educate patients and clearly reinforce post-operative, and home-care instructions Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation Monitor clinical supplies and assist with inventory management Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, stocked, and ready throughout the day Assist with laboratory cases and communication as needed Provide a warm, reassuring experience for patients before, during, and after treatment Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative teams to maintain efficient patient flow Participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education Experience Previous dental assisting experience preferred Maryland Dental Radiation Technologist certification required Experience with digital radiography and dental practice technology Experience with iTero scanning, Invisalign, orthodontic records, attachment placement/removal, or other orthodontic procedures is a strong plus Experience assisting with endodontics, oral surgery, temporary crown fabrication and implant procedures is a plus Strong infection control and sterilization knowledge Excellent communication, organization, and patient-care skills Ability to anticipate clinical needs, take initiative, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment We are willing to consider candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong potential, reliability, professionalism, and a genuine desire to learn and grow Join a team where excellent patient care, teamwork, and continued growth are genuinely valued. Pay:
$25.00 - $34.00 per hour
