DENTAL ASSISTANT

- Available Immediately, Monday- Thursday, 8am-4:30pm. Catoctin Dental is looking for a full time dental assistant to join our clinical staff! We are a general dentistry office located in Thurmont, Maryland and were recently voted Best General Dentist in the Frederick News Post's Best of the Best. We strive to provide our patients with excellent service and individualized care in a family-friendly, small town environment. We are seeking someone outgoing and friendly, who values patient interactions and keeping the schedule running on time. Responsibilities:

Assisting chairside general dentistry including restorative, crown and bridge, endodontics, extractions, dentures, implant procedures, emergency visits, etc. Seating and walking out patients Cleaning, sterilizing, and stocking instruments and supplies Collecting medical histories, taking patient blood pressure Turning over rooms and setting up instruments for the next procedure Logging, packing, and tracking laboratory cases Exposing x-rays including intraoral, panoramic, and CBCT Reviewing post op instructions Fabricating temporary crowns and packing retraction cord Taking intraoral photos, impressions, and digital scans Charting and notation in Eaglesoft software Helping with scheduling appointments, answering patient questions, making follow-up calls Assist with front desk duties as needed Working as part of a team to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently Maintaining long-term patient relationships and building new ones

Qualifications:

Valid CPR and Dental Radiation Technologist license, with CDA, QDA, or EFDA preferred

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour
