The Director, Hospital Benefits & Total Rewards will be a key leader within Human Resources serving an organization that is a regional acute care hospital serving Western Maryland and surrounding multi-state communities, a high-acuity regional referral center with a busy ED and strong patient volume, offering diverse clinical exposure, a full-service medical hub with oncology, wound care, behavioral health, and specialty outpatient programs, and part of a growing health system with ongoing expansion, modernization, and service line development. The Director, Hospital Benefits & Total Rewards will help translate this scale and clinical breadth into meaningful, modern total rewards that attract, grow, and retain exceptional people.

Reporting to executive leadership, the Director, Hospital Benefits & Total Rewards will mentor and elevate a high-performing compensation and benefits team. The Director will craft board-ready analytics and recommendations, keep the organization ahead of market shifts, regulations, and emerging practices to advance wellbeing and affordability, design and steward health plans, retirement programs, wellbeing initiatives, and leave strategies, and partner with executives on workforce planning, labor cost modeling, and talent optimization.
