Job Description
Job Title:
Orthodontic Assistant We are looking for a motivated experienced and bilingual assistant, who is enthusiastic about delivering great patient experiences to join our orthodontic team! We have a full time assistant position available that offers great benefits, and a schedule that allows for great work-life balance.Duties:
- Assist orthodontists during dental procedures, including orthodontic adjustments and installations
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology in patient interactions
- Support with four-handed dentistry techniques
Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting
- Proficiency in medical coding and documentation
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices
- Experience with X-Ray procedures
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry methods
