Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our dental team. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, familiarity with dental terminology, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Dental Assistant will assist in both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth workflow within the practice.   • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
  • Take dental X-rays while adhering to safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform chairside assisting duties, including suctioning, retracting, and providing comfort to patients during treatments.
  • Collaborate with the dental receptionist for effective patient management and communication. Experience
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and practices including
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection control protocols, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in using dental software.
  • Ability to perform documentation accurately and maintain organized records.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
  • Certification in CPR or First Aid is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a busy environment.
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
