Dentrix Dental Assisting Certified Dental Assistant Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and empathetic dental assistant to join our practice . Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment following aseptic techniques Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric dentistry treatments Take and develop dental X-rays while ensuring proper radiation safety protocols are followed Manage patient records accurately using systems such as Dentrix including medical history and treatment documentation Provide chairside assistance by managing dental terminology, medical terminology, and vital signs to support efficient procedures Maintain infection control standards by adhering to HIPAA regulations and sterilization procedures Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry practices Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners with precision and safety awareness Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and experience assisting with pediatric patients is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages and backgrounds Certification in dental assisting or relevant training preferred
Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
