Job Description

Be Our Next Dental Assistant! We are looking for a bright energetic team member to join our busy dental practice. A warm and welcoming person that enjoys working with people and has great attention to detail would fit right in with our superb team in our new state of the art facility. Our office consists of a team of highly trained and experienced dental professionals, dedicated to providing top-quality care to all our patients. Providing our patients with a positive and comfortable experience is our top priority. Applicants for this job are required to have hands-on experience as Dental Assistants. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix is advantageous Knowledge of dental imaging techniques and X-ray safety standards Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy is essential Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members Ability to work efficiently in a busy family practice environment while maintaining attention to detail Responsibilities Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental op clean and well-stocked Maintain accurate patient records
