In this vital role, you will serve as the friendly first point of contact, managing patient flow, scheduling appointments, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and our dental professionals. You will also assist with clinical procedures, supporting our team in delivering exceptional dental care across general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and more. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting while making a positive impact on people's oral health. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in/check-out process with professionalism and efficiency Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Verify patient insurance information and process medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist dental providers during procedures with chairside assisting, including taking X-rays, preparing materials, and maintaining aseptic technique Record vital signs and assist with medical imaging procedures to support comprehensive patient care Manage medical records and ensure accurate documentation of dental and medical history using Epic or similar platforms Educate patients on treatment plans, dental terminology, and post-procedure care to enhance their understanding and comfort Qualifications Previous experience working in a dental clinic environment or as a dental receptionist/assistant is highly preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic; familiarity with 3D scanners is a plus Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely following proper protocols for pediatric dentistry and general dentistry cases Strong understanding of medical coding, medical terminology, and medical documentation standards Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics Certification or training in chairside assisting, infection control, or related areas is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication helps improve lives through exceptional dental care!
