Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is ready for procedures Assist dentists during various treatments including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry with chairside support Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and X-ray machines, adhering to infection control protocols Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic, ensuring HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment following aseptic techniques and infection control standards to ensure safety for patients and staff Skills Proficiency with dental software systems including Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for scheduling, documentation, and medical coding Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures across general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Experience with medical documentation and records management within a dental setting Skilled in taking accurate X-rays and operating medical imaging tools such as 3D scanners Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during various dental procedures while maintaining aseptic technique Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages including pediatrics and their families Knowledge of infection control practices and sterilization procedures to uphold the highest safety standards Embark on a rewarding career as a Dental Assistant where your dedication enhances patient experiences every day! Pay:
