Job Description
Join Our Growing Team! We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our established and growing dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to play an important role in helping our office provide an outstanding patient experience. This position serves as a key member of our front office team, working closely with the Office Manager to ensure the daily operations of the practice run smoothly while providing exceptional customer service to our patients. Responsibilities Assist the Office Manager with day-to-day office operations Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional first impression Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the daily appointment calendar Verify insurance eligibility and assist with obtaining patient information Explain recommended treatment plans and answer general questions regarding procedures Review treatment estimates and discuss financial options with patients Assist patients in establishing payment arrangements when appropriate Collect copays, balances, and process patient payments Coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation is complete Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow Help resolve patient concerns with professionalism and compassion Assist with administrative projects and other office duties as needed Support a positive, team-oriented office culture Qualifications Previous dental office experience preferred Experience with dental practice management software is a plus Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment Comfortable discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements with patients Professional, dependable, and positive attitude Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, takes pride in staying organized, and is comfortable balancing patient care with administrative responsibilities.
