If you're someone who can see the office running as a "system", but still wants to occasionally work chairside, you'll fit right in here.
Dental Assistant/Floater Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Escort patients, prepare treatment rooms, and complete room turnover efficiently Take dental X-rays, intraoral photographs, and impressions as needed (training required) Assist with instrument sterilization and maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked operatories Support hygienists and doctors with tray setup and chairside assistance as needed Assist with lab case tracking, supply restocking, and light administrative tasks Help maintain smooth patient flow during peak times, staff absences, or callouts Balance between hygiene and doctor side Occasionally assist the dentist during exams, fillings, crowns, extractions, and other procedures. Basic qualifications At least 2 years of dental assisting experience 4 handed dental assisting Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages Strong knowledge in taking x-rays Preferred qualifications Experience with 3D scanners for advanced imaging techniques What you'll get:
