The Dental Assistant will work alongside the Dentist and Dental Hygienist to assist with the care of patients in a safe and efficient manner. We are interested in hiring candidates who are friendly, outgoing, and enjoy working in a fast-paced dental office environment. We are a small family practice with 4 treatment rooms and cutting edge technology (including a CBCT machine and digital scanner). We pride ourselves on great teamwork with a friendly staff and opportunities for training and growth. Fridays off. Conveniently located near the Detroit Zoo and I-696. Salary depends on experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during procedures. Perform basic dental procedures. Setup treatment rooms and prepare the dental office. Assist with scans and impressions for dental work Sterilize and maintain instruments. Maintain infection control and cleanliness. Assist with patient education and post-operative care. Taking x-rays. Completing dental charts. Updating treatment records and administrative tasks. Receiving, packaging and shipping of patient's cases to a lab. Keeping the office clean, sanitary and in good working order. Other duties as needed.
