Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant to join our family-oriented dental practice.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
- Be proficient at making temporary crowns and taking impressions
- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation
- Perform dental laboratory procedures such as pouring impressions and trimming models
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Qualifications:
- Dental Assistant certification or relevant experience
- Strong assisting skills, including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
