The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring efficient clinic operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about dental health and eager to grow within a professional environment that values precision, compassion, and teamwork. Prior experience with dental software and a solid understanding of dental terminology are highly preferred. Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following infection control protocols using aseptic techniques Assist dentists during various procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, ensuring patient safety and comfort Record vital signs and medical history, maintaining accurate medical documentation and records in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic Manage patient flow efficiently by greeting patients as a dental receptionist and scheduling appointments Provide chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance procedure efficiency Ensure proper use of medical imaging equipment and maintain knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures Maintain infection control standards and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Assist with medical coding and documentation for insurance claims and record keeping purposes Support the team with general administrative tasks related to patient care and clinic operations Skills Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for managing patient records and documentation Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security Experience with dental software including Dentrix or similar platforms for scheduling and record management Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and pediatric patient care procedures Ability to operate X-ray machines safely while adhering to radiation safety standards; experience with 3D scanners is a plus Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Skilled in chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry for various specialties like prosthodontics and endodontics Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures in a dental setting Experience working in a dental clinic environment with proficiency in medical imaging, medical documentation, medical records management, and medical coding This position is essential for delivering high-quality patient care while supporting the clinical team's efficiency. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all patients.
