This energetic position offers the opportunity to work closely with dentists, patients, and the broader healthcare team to ensure smooth, efficient, and comfortable dental visits. You will be instrumental in assisting with clinical procedures, managing patient records, and maintaining a sterile environment—all while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our patients. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures Assist dentists during various treatments such as restorations, oral surgeries, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans while adhering to infection prevention management and aseptic techniques Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and addressing patient questions with professionalism and empathy Support dental sterilization procedures to maintain clinical confidentiality policies and infection control standards Coordinate patient management software to schedule appointments, update medical histories, and facilitate smooth patient flow Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry practices Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; experience with patient management software is highly desirable Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health care Knowledge of dental equipment operation including X-ray machines, intraoral cameras, 3D scanners, and dental instruments processing Expertise in infection prevention management, aseptic technique, dental sterilization procedures, and healthcare infection control protocols Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while practicing four-handed dentistry techniques Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the dental team and provide outstanding patient care Certification in dental assisting or related healthcare fields is preferred; additional certifications in oral surgery or endodontics are advantageous Join us to make a difference in patients' lives through compassionate care and clinical excellence.
