```Duties```
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Perform dental charting and documentation
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
  • Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment ```Skills```
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and dental anatomy
  • Ability to accurately code medical procedures for billing purposes
  • Experience with XL Dent or other dental practice management software
  • Competency in dental imaging techniques for diagnostic purposes As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.
Your skills in medical documentation, dental assisting, and knowledge of anatomy will be essential in providing quality patient care. Additionally, your proficiency in using XL Dent or similar medical record systems will contribute to efficient record keeping and communication within the healthcare team. Familiarity with CAD software will enable you to assist in creating dental prosthetics, while your ability to accurately code medical procedures will aid in billing processes. Experience with Eaglesoft or other dental practice management software will facilitate appointment scheduling and patient record management. Finally, your competency in medical imaging techniques will allow you to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
