Licensed Dental Assistant (Oral Surgery)

We are proud to be a doctor-owned practice. We are looking for a Licensed Dental Assistant who is passionate about patient care to join our talented surgery team. The Licensed Dental Assistant position is a full-time, benefits-eligible position at 36 hours per week. You will work in our Woodbury and Cottage Grove offices. The hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 7:20-4:30, Thursday from 7:20-11:30, and Friday from 7:20-4:00. At The Oral Surgery Center, the Licensed Dental Assistant plays a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support during oral surgical procedures. The duties include, but are not limited to the following: Assist oral surgeon during surgical procedures. Provide patient care (greet, educate, obtain and record medical history, prep for surgery, monitor patient during surgery, recovery, etc.) Procedure tray set up, sterilization, and equipment maintenance. Imaging (X-ray, conebeam, intraoral scanning) A valid Minnesota Dental Assistant License is required. Previous oral surgery experience is a plus but is not required. We will provide training. In addition, we provide continuing education, including but not limited to an in-house DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Exam) course, Anesthesia Review course, IV Certification course, and annual CPR renewal course.
