A day in the life of a Pediatric Dental Assistant Expose digital diagnostic X-Rays Record clinical findings and treatment information in patient records Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients. Clean teeth, using dental instruments including toothbrush and prophy cup Apply fluoride varnish, Sealants, and SDF Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs. Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
