Job Description

Are you ready to take the next step in your dental career? Our busy, patient-focused practice in Florissant, MO is growing, and we're excited to add two amazing, experienced Dental Assistants to our family: These are full-time positions: Monday 9am
  • 5pm Tuesday
  • Wednesday 8am
  • 5pm 1 per month Friday 9am-2pm
Ideal Candidate:
2+ years experience as certified EFDA preferred, but we will also consider a candidate with less experience as long as they are open to training, have a high-energy team oriented personality and have a passion for giving patients the best experience. Self
  • motivated Multi-tasker (comfortable running mulit-chair patients) Customer Service focused Enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and easing anxiety Excellent communication skills Team Oriented Dentrix and Sidexis experience a plus!
Responsibilities:
Provide a welcoming, soothing and customer service focused experience for patients. Prepare patients for treatment or checkups ensuring their comfort. Take diagnostic x-rays using standard dental radiographic equipment. Assist the Dentist with a high level of partnership through four handed dentistry. Arrive prepared for each day and review patient charts for morning huddle. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures when needed. Verify patient health history (basic health review, medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in patient's chart. Manage lab cases and schedule patients as needed. Assist with other office duties as requested or needed. Why join us?
