Opportunity for professional growth with long-term career advancement Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring all tools and materials are prepared and sterilized according to aseptic techniques. Operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging devices while maintaining strict adherence to infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Take accurate vital signs and medical histories, update electronic medical records (EMR systems) like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with medical coding standards. Manage patient flow by greeting patients as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, and providing clear instructions for pre
  • and post-treatment care.
Take high-quality X-rays and other diagnostic images while maintaining proper radiation safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized dental clinic environment by following infection control practices, sterilizing instruments, and managing medical records securely. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic; familiarity with medical documentation and records management. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while adhering to radiation safety standards. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages including pediatrics; capable of explaining procedures clearly. Certification in dental assisting or relevant training
