Dental Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing practice in Joplin, Missouri. This role is essential in supporting clinical efficiency and delivering an exceptional patient experience. PM Thursday:

8:00 AM•5:00

PM Friday:

8:00 AM•1:00 PM Key Responsibilities Sit chairside with the doctor and assist during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms in accordance with infection control protocols Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience required Current CPR/BLS certification required EFDA certification preferred (recommended) X-ray certification (or ability to obtain per Missouri state requirements) Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of organization and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment Positive attitude and patient-first mindset What We Offer Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunity for professional growth and development Competitive compensation based on experience Consistent schedule and work-life balance Equal Opportunity Employer Statement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
