Job Description

Overview Braces by Billings is a growing, family-owned orthodontic practice dedicated to providing extraordinary patient experiences and beautiful, confident smiles. We are seeking an energetic, experienced Orthodontic Assistant with Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) training to join our clinical team. Role Overview In this role, you will work chairside alongside our orthodontist to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. Leveraging your EFDA training and clinical experience, you will manage key procedures, ensure a smooth patient flow, and help patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment journeys. Qualifications Proven experience as an Orthodontic Assistant Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental procedures Familiarity with EMR systems like OrthoTrac and Ortho2 Edge Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners accurately Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry considerations Certification in dental assisting or equivalent training, EFDA certified (Ortho) Join us in making a difference by delivering top-tier orthodontic care!
