• Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical assisting, patient care, and dental procedures, with a focus on delivering exceptional service. As a Dental Assistant, you will support dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and safety. Your expertise will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and cared for. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures in general dentistry Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take dental radiographs (X-ray) while adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards. Manage patient records using electronic medical record systems such with Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide chairside assistance through four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Conduct vital signs assessments and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and dental terminology to promote informed decision-making. Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment. Support the dental reception team by scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and managing patient flow efficiently. Operate advanced dental technology such as 3D scanners and medical imaging equipment for precise diagnostics. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant within a general or specialized dental practice a plus, but not a requirement. Proficiency in Dentrix managing dental records and documentation. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security. Familiarity with dental imaging techniques including X-ray procedures. Understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform chairside assisting with expertise in four-handed dentistry and medical imaging procedures. Excellent communication skills for patient education and collaboration with the dental team.
