Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate and patient-centered dental team as a Dental Assistant, where your kindness, professionalism, and clinical skills will help create a positive and comforting experience for every patient. In this important role, you will support the dentist during procedures, assist in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and help ensure high-quality care is delivered with empathy and attention to detail. Responsibilities Provide chairside support during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative and pediatric treatments, while helping patients feel calm, comfortable, and cared for Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials using proper aseptic techniques and infection control standards to ensure safe, competent care Take and process digital dental X-rays using modern imaging systems Accurately maintain patient records within EMR systems such as Curve Dental while upholding HIPAA standards and patient confidentiality Deliver compassionate patient care by explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and addressing questions with patience, professionalism, and empathy Support front office and administrative responsibilities including scheduling appointments, welcoming patients, and assisting with documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment in accordance with OSHA and infection control guidelines Work collaboratively with the dental team to create a positive, respectful, and supportive atmosphere for both patients and coworkers Qualifications Experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental setting with knowledge of general dentistry practices Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding for accurate documentation Proficiency with dental software systems such as Curve Dental Ability to perform chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques with confidence and attention to patient comfort Knowledge of infection control procedures, aseptic techniques, anatomy, and dental imaging equipment including X-ray systems Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to protecting patient privacy Radiography or X-ray certification preferred; CPR and PALS certification are a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism, organization, and attention to detail Join a team that values kindness, compassionate care, professionalism, and continuous learning. Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
