Duties Assist Surgeon during a variety of dental procedures including oral surgery. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management protocols Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging technology such as 3D scanners and dental x-ray machines Manage patient records accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) systems like WinOms while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures Monitor vital signs and assist with patient care before, during, and after treatments to ensure comfort and safety Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following strict infection control standards and aseptic techniques Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially with oral surgery environments Proficiency with dental software such as WinOms for scheduling, documentation, and patient management Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental procedures Hands-on experience with dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, and infection prevention management Familiarity with dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools Strong understanding of healthcare infection control practices and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members including dental receptionists and other healthcare professionals Join us in making a difference by providing compassionate care in a vibrant dental practice!
