An ideal candidate is motivated and well-organized with great attention to detail. We want you to be skilled in providing direct/indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
This position will report directly to the lead DA and our periodontists.
Sterilization of equipment.
Set up procedure rooms with necessary dental instruments.
Take radiographs as needed for treatment and diagnostics.
Assisting periodontists during surgeries and procedures.
Paying attention to the practices inventory; ordering and restocking dental supplies or notifying the appropriate channels when supplies are needed.
Educate patients about oral health.
Other duties as needed.
Previous experience (minimum of two years) dental assisting required.
Minimum Certified Dental Assistant I required.
Dental X-Ray Certification required.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA).Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment.
Strong communication skills along with active listening.
Exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skills.
A patient and empathetic attitude.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Adaptability and flexibility.
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
Troubleshooting skills, either basic or advanced, depending on the role and industry.
Proficiency with computers, especially with Denticon software.
Fluency in a second/multiple languages highly preferred.
