The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental Office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are readily available. Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, providing comfort and support throughout their visit. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Operate dental equipment and assist in taking radiographs as needed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and work areas according to infection control protocols. Support pediatric dentistry practices by engaging with young patients in a friendly manner. Skills Must be a DA II Certified in North Carolina. Proficiency in dental terminology. Experience working with children is a plus. Coronal polishing and Nitrous Oxide certifications are highly preferred. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
