Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is currently looking for a Dental Assistant II to join our top-notch, fun-loving team at the Durham Miami office!

Responsible for assisting the dentist in rendering patient care, maintaining inventory control in the operatory rooms where treatment is rendered by the dentist, helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, and preparing materials. Daily/Weekly/Monthly Tasks will include, but are not limited to: Assist the dentist in rendering patient care Reinforces preventive maintenance instructions to patients Seats and prepares the patients for treatment Tending to the patient during dental procedures, while keeping the patient calm and comfortable. Cleans operatory after treatment procedures along with disinfecting all areas involved in patient care Readies tray set-ups for procedures & sterilizes instruments Exposes digital radiographs Takes preliminary impression for needed procedures Monitors all lab cases and ensures they are ready for the patient's appointment Monitors lab tracking system Maintain the office dental supply inventory control system, the lab tracking system Follows OSHA & Company Safety Policies & Procedures Retrieving 5 Star Google Reviews Other duties as assigned Skills and Attributes Excellent planning and organizational skills Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Having the expertise to anticipate patient's and dentist needs Professional appearance and manner Computer literacyJob Specifications:
Dental Assistant certificate required State of NC X-Ray Certification High School Diploma or GED Ability to lift 15-20 lbsPay:
